David Cardelús Architectural Photography

Architectural Photography Is A Matter Of Persuasion

An experienced architectural photographer, David specialises in the photography of contemporary architecture, creating compelling images that are both artworks and specific communication tools.

His photographs have been acclaimed for their distinctive graphical plasticity. A Fine Arts background has developed David’s particular appreciation of light, form and colour and his discerning eye for serene, minimalist compositions that distill the vision of the architects, interior designers, publishers and companies he works for.

David Cardelús is your one-stop solution for architectural photography in Barcelona.

Communication for Architecture

you don’t take a photograph, you make it

Architectural photography is a collaborative work of communication: architectural photographs are intended to catch the viewer’s attention with a simple and direct language, to properly describe and explain architecture and the urban landscape and to decisively influence the observers who look at them.

Two facts implement an effective and profitable communication of architecture nowadays: one, the vast majority of the architecture projects that we know we first know by the photographs that represent them. Two, the natural environment in which the life of photographs happens is the internet.

Every effort that we make to create compelling photographs that represent architecture are intended to seduce the viewers that contemplate them on a global scale: excellence is a must.

Photographing Architecture

professional Photography is added value for architecture

Architectural photographs are the vehicles that interpret in images the essential features that make a new project different and unique. Communication begins from an intentional photographer's look on an architecture project to make it first attractive and intelligible then.

During a long professional career, David has worked for many different clients that use his imagery on their communications, marketing and public relations: they include renowned publishing and architecture firms, magazines, public corporations, museums, universities, real estate, developers, strategic marketing, industrial and engineering and all kind of architecture & the built environment related companies.

David has twice been placed as a finalist in the European Architectural Photography Prize.
